This blend of Merlot, Sangiovese and Syrah is matured in a combination of oak and stainless steel. It has a rich, brooding nose with meaty aromas accompanied by damp earth, herbs and spice. In the mouth it has a delicate layer of ripe, textured tannins over flavours of black cherry, plum, raspberry and more meaty notes. It's all held together by fresh acidity that also extends the finish. A well balanced, elegant red.
