Overall, a discreet vintage for Luce. Relatively angular, it's just a bit dusty with cinnamon, pepper and liquorice poking through. There is no lack of structure, though the tannins are still strict and austere. Perhaps a classic Bistecca alla Fiorentina will render this a bit more friendly. Lamberto took over as president of Frescobaldi in this year.
