Smooth and slightly glycerol but still lively, this delivers a bit more substance and grip compared to the estate’s flagship Chianti Classico. Both are equal in charms, though this single-site offering is limited to just 2,500 bottles. Crafted from vines planted in the 1970s, Tenuta de' Carfini sees a spontaneous fermentation in cement followed by a short stint in 20hl oak casks.
