Another Italian newcomer to Sainsbury's Taste the Difference range for Autumn 2022. Mainly Sangiovese, with 5% each of Cabernet Sauvignon and Colorino, this spends 24 months in small oak barrels before release. Savoury cherry nose with earthy undertones. More of the same on the palate, which shows good depth of flavour with rounded tannins and a chalky mineral note. Good value.
