There's a slightly oxidative note of fenugreek seed, while the blueberry-tinged acidity punches through the palate, extending the breezy, lifted finish that belies its 15% abv. Give this some time before enjoying with game. 100% Sangiovese from a single vineyard. Aged for 20 months in French oak tonneaux, then 15 months in the bottle.
