The vineyards used for this Riserva are surrounded by woods and lakes in Greve in Chianti, at over 300m asl. The 2021 is still young, the oak still prominent in its woody, spicy imprint. It's rich and concentrated, yet remarkably vertical and well balanced, with a vein of freshness breezing through. Dark cherry and berries wait to be released from the oak. Give this time and it should sing.
