A preview of the 2023 Giorgio Primo, bottled a week before tasting. ‘It reminds me of Sine Qua Non!’ remarks proprietor, Giampaolo Motta, who didn't bottle any wine from 2022. Aromatic potpourri lifts a concentrated core of black, red and blue berries, with generosity and viscosity in equal measure. It demonstrates superb balance, however, with plenty of freshness to push it along. ‘It represents my philosophy’, concludes Matta.
