The estate’s flagship wine brings together three diverse plots, all within the commune of Greve in Chianti. Despite loss to downy mildew and significant water stress, the 2023 articulates a sense of joyfulness. An initial whiff of petrichor leads to a symphony of pungent balsamic herbs and red summer berries. Supple and gracious in presentation, the palate is pleasantly plush, with soft, yielding tannins which lightly swaddle the pristine, sun-warmed fruit. A succulent undertow draws out the flavourful finish.
