This Umbrian riff on Grenache, or Gamay Trasimeno, offers a vibrant and honest take on Grenache from the Umbrian countryside. Fresh, fruity and full of Mediterranean scrub, violets and lavender aromas with hints of candied raspberry on the nose. The palate is lovely; fresh and herbaceous herbs really build out the mid-palate. There is ample fruit, but it's so nuanced and lovely. A Burgundian take on Grenache emphasising freshness and minerality.
