This charming family-run estate is located in the most northerly part of Aosta's viticultural zone, Morgex, an area known for its native white variety, Prié Blanc. Pure and fresh, it can be made as still wine, bubbles, or sweet wine that has a lighter and fresher touch. The Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle 2023 is fruity and gentle, with notes of orchard fruits, citrus zest, and a pronounced saline finish. Slightly reminiscent of Savoie's Jacquère, daughter Ninive Pavese recommends a cheese and salumi board rather than fondue as accompaniment.
