This beautiful 2023 Chambave Muscat delivers a beautifully refined palate of white peach, lemongrass and pronounced salinity. La Crotta di Vegneron is one of the region's cooperative wineries, working with around 50 different winegrowers. They offer a number of different wines, but their 'Mines' range is particularly special. At 2,000 metres above sea level in Cogne's old magnetite mining caves, the wines are aged in darkness at a constant five degrees Celsius and 85% humidity for at least 12 months. This unique environment forces the carbon dioxide out of the wine at a quicker rate, creating wines with a more chiselled profile. A truly impressive expression of Muscat.
