This Extra Brut style (just 6g/l residual sugar) from the Treviso subzone undergoes extended fermentation and eight months of lees ageing. It has a slightly mushroomy scent at first, with some ripe peach and mango emerging, trailed by a medicinal, menthol waft. In the mouth it has a citrussy attack, with lemon peel and green apple, then a stony mid-palate and a rich, round finish of stone fruits. Fresh acidity balances.
