A masterful interpretation of a Venetian classic, from a pioneer of modern winemaking in Breganze, this has explosive intensity on the nose, with fresh notes of orange peel and lime, some exotic mango, then leafy sage and oregano. On the palate there is mouthwatering acidity which gives the impression of juicy sweetness, and a long aromatic finish with the tangy intensity of the volcanic soils of Breganze. A full four months of appassimento and 12 months in barriques, 1/3 new.
