Bright straw to gold in colour, it shows class on the nose; dried apricots, wax, honey, cedar and caramel. This is a great wine with fine and deep flavours, very balanced. One could think of Bordeaux with the nose but it is definitely more similar to old Rioja on the palate. This is a jewel with multilayered and refined mouthfeel. My best mark was given on the fourth day after opening the bottle. It started to decay on the seventh day.
