Malta

The estate wine is sourced from an organically grown single-vineyard site featuring Terra Rossa soil in Marsaxlokk, southeastern Malta, close to the sea. Aged for two years in French oak barrels, 50% new. A coffee-scented nose opens to mulberry and pure dark berries. Incredibly rounded with a velvety texture, it has extremely ripe, fine tannins, remaining creamy and seamless while retaining lovely structure and depth. Very juicy with splendid dark berry fruit, seasoned with still youthful cedar and vanilla, leading to a layered finish.
