Malta

Cocoa opens to mulberry, dark plum and sour cherry. Lovely depth of blueberry and a creamy, concentrated palate of liquid chocolate. Fantastic acidity provides freshness, with pure, black coffee-scented dark fruits, warm and dry. I would love to see it age further – the now sold-out 2022 vintage is a testament to its ageing potential, offering a far more complex and aromatic expression with a much broader, rounder texture on the palate.
