Savoury in character, with Mediterranean herbs, dark spices and meaty dark fruits on the nose. Ripe, silky tannins, more savoury spices and dark roasted coffee. Fantastic purity, seasoned with exhilarating spice, thyme and olive characters, slightly warm. Bright but well-managed acidity provides a lift to the tarry blackberry notes, leading to the finish. Excellent for red meat dishes such as venison.
