This is a mid-weight, broody style of Pinot that offers savoury characters of smoke and paprika spice. It has a very fine finish with resolved, pixellated tannins that leave a fine, powdery coating on the palate, making you want to lick your lips - perhaps that's due to the calcium-carbonate deposits in the clay soil. Although just 12.5% in alcohol, it's fully flavoured and dense.
