Quite a savoury nose, with dusty earth and forest floor notes, plus good spicy red/black fruits and a floral lift too. A little stemmy, but some nice creamy cranberry, red plum and cherry fruit with powdery tannins, zippy acidity and a dry finish. Nicely elegant style, drinking well now. Sourced from across the estate’s organic vineyards, with 16 months in French oak barriques, 25% new.
