From a north-facing block on the original Elms Vineyard, with deep silt loams. Very pale and a little shy initially, then comes a burst of sweet, juicy apple, yellow peach, honeysuckle, rockmelon and limes. Just 10% alcohol, medium-sweet with rich apricot, apple and citrus, a good clean acid line and very long finish. Lots of bright dancing charm at this youthful stage, but Block 1 always ages very smartly, too.
