Vivid florals and blue fruits, sit beside an earthy, plush-fruited silky palate with darker berry fruits and plums. Decent concentration and flow; this is young and fresh with good vitality and generosity. The tannins are a bit edgy, with the fruit not quite as precisely etched as Felton Road's Block wines, and it’s not quite as layered. This is still a very good wine however. Felton Road’s 7.6ha Cornish Point Vineyard is surrounded on three sides by the Clutha River and Lake Dunstan, which aids with airflow and frost protection. Biodynamic and B Corp certified.
