A highly aromatic burst of cherry, redcurrant, rosehip, violets, blueberries, savoury herbs and baking spices. The palate has a lovely delicacy, bright fruit and very fine, powdery tannins. Fairly straightforward style and decent length; from a very good year and a charming, small, family-owned vineyard on glacial-formed sandy soils in the Alexandra sub-region, where classic Pinot Noir is the main focus, though Paul and Angela Jacobson also make a Port-style wine, pét nat, rosé, blanc de noir and orange wine.
