A richly perfumed nose, initial red fruits then darker plummy notes with a vibrant spice lift, earth and dried herbs. Generous mid-palate fruit and tight-knit tannins, flows nicely with a silky texture, a strong mineral line and a savoury, slightly chewy finish. A little edgy, very precise and quite captivating; good value too. Made from 100% Abel clone, using 100% whole bunch and no new oak.
