Grown on the heavy, deep silts of the Muirkirk Vineyard, this wine shows all the generosity and smoothness of Bannockburn. Beautiful savouriness, dried hayflower and pepper are all dispersed in juicy red cherry with gentle translucency. The palate immediately comes in with a density of fruit and structure, despite the gentle handling. Tight, velvety tannins have saltiness and juiciness in equal measure. Very long, fine and fragrant.
