First established by four friends in 2004, the brand name 'Mt Difficulty' refers to a steep nearby mountain. 'Roaring Meg' was partially aged (70%) in concrete egg and underwent full malolactic fermentation. Buttery cream on the nose, revealing Conference pear and lime. Zesty and peppery on a textured palate of generous apricot, yellow plum and juicy melon, with sweet-spiced citrus and nectarine. Vivid acidity drives the wine forward, leading to a slightly warm, dried apricot-like finish.
