While fairly closed at first, this soon opens up with opulently perfumed nose, layered red/black fruits, florals, spice, a lot of earth and vinosity here too, hard to tease it all apart both on the nose and palate. Textural and compact with wonderfully integrated fruit/oak tannins and a spine of bright acidity, this is clearly built for the long haul while offering a lot of joy already.
