As far as I know, Rippon is the only producer of this variety in New Zealand. From vines planted 30 years ago, this wine makes for an excellent aperitif, with aromas and flavours of fresh citrus and apple, a touch of cider and a very fine lees quality. Further flavours of grapefruit, lemon rind and white spice mix with a crisp, dry texture and saline freshness.
