Nothing here is overdone, yet there is an intensity, urgency and directness of fruit that speaks of bold sunshine, unimpeded by extraction or oak. Superb freshness laces the wine, makes it appetising and lends lovely tension. The pure, savoury, almost wild fruit lingers seductively and shows off what the Pisa Ranges subregion can deliver. Very well done.
