What a cool wine - in more ways than one. It has the perfume and brightness of a cool season and it's also just a delicious glass of Pinot Noir. 25% whole-bunch fruit has given added floral and herbal lift to the classic black cherry flavours of Central Otago Pinot, plus a cheeky bit of chorizo which adds a smoky, meaty edge. It's pure and unadulterated, perhaps due to no fining or filtering, so all the good stuff is left in. A light to mid-weight harmonious example, with a fine line of acidity on the medium-long finish.
