A powerful wine with plenty of richness alongside excellent freshness and elegance. Made from Clearview’s oldest vines (30 years plus), a textbook nose of lemon meringue, ripe peach, oatmeal and toasty oak. The palate has great build with a dense core of citrus and stonefruit, toasted cashews and a creamy, spicy oak undertow. Good flow with a lengthy dry, savoury finish. Long regarded as one of the country’s top Chardonnays.
