From Framingham’s oldest vines, planted in the early 1980s, late harvested with some botrytis influence. Lime marmalade, honey, beeswax and a hint of slightly toasty notes. Rich and vivid palate, with fine citrus, clover honey, apricot and dried peach, a delicate frame with a fine, firm vein of acidity, very nicely judged with great balance and poise, very good length. Just 10% alcohol and 115g/L residual sugar, so clean and such finesse.
