Hand-picked in the Brawn Vineyard and whole-bunch-pressed, this was fermented very slowly in stainless steel and pitches 8g/l of residual sweetness with a thrilling and vivid 9g/l of acidity, giving a dry finish. Lanolin and lime are creamy yet spiky on the nose and more air reveals overtones of chamomile. A sinuous, driven, energetic Riesling that is as smooth as it is fluid and fresh. The finish is pervaded by saltiness and lingering texture that is akin to lemon pith. Yum.
