It is an amber wine made with a blend of old-vine indigenous Palestinian grapes aged in amphorae. With notes of honey, orange pith, husk cherries, honeysuckle, dried apricot, ginger, and herbs, the wine yawns to reveal pickled chanterelles, pine nuts, and a distinct aroma of golden raisins warmed in ghee. The balanced acidity offers freshness and a long finish. Decant for at least 30 minutes and savour with context. This wine was made in a war zone.
