This blend of Alicante Bouschet, Aragonez, Touriga Nacional, Syrah and Petit Verdot, aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels, is complex, muscular and precise, with vivid acid lifting the intense blackberry, blackberry and black olives at the core. This is very evocative of Alentejo, with a trademark layering of ripe and sour fruit, over a bed of rockrose, wild oregano and tree bark. Subtle lining of cardamom, nutmeg and eucalyptus. Long fragrant, lively finish.
