Scaling fresh heights of intensity in aromatics, flavour and mouthfeel, this second bottling of the 2013 vintage includes 600L of the 1999 vintage and spent eight years in barrel. Ricocheting saltiness and pulsing acidity both season and extend the palate of dried honey and pear, raisin, café crème cigar, gingerbread, cinnamon, cedar and nutty soy-glazed sunflower seeds. This wears the alcohol (19.3%) and residual sugar (30.7g/L) effortlessly, finishing super-long and mellifluous.
