A beguilingly sweet nose announces this Baga do Moinho from the Panasqueira vineyard. The Baga is harvested at the end of August from the same vines that produce the red wine. This wine spends almost 9 years on lees and is totally delicious. Sweet cherry and floral aromatics are framed by hints of freshly cut grass and wild alpine herbs. The palate is lush, with lovely orange pastry cream, candied raspberries and a squeeze of fresh blood orange.
