A blend of Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional from 40-year-old vines, foot-trodden and fermented in an open granite lagar. Spice-laden aromas of ripe black cherry and berries lead to a big and generous palate, with good depth of ripe black fruit and fine, well-integrated tannins. Careful oaking (18 months in second- and third-use French oak) lends structure, balanced by notable freshness. Long spicy finish.
