Taylor's, Select Tawny Port, Douro Valley, Portugal NV

An intriguing mix of dried fruits and cherry liqueur on the nose and palate. Tar, liquorice and dried red berries with bitter dried orange peel. Lovely brightness (acidity at 4.2g/L), finishing long with more dried red fruits and figs. Pour over vanilla ice cream, but also well worth spending some time savouring a glass.
