Following the discovery of 200 vines in 2007, Manz has saved the Jampal variety from near extinction and championed it through what remains the only single-varietal expression. Full of pure, zesty citrus and crunchy green and white orchard fruit, with a toasty outline of smoked almonds and perfumed nuances of vanilla and rose petals. A fine, but firm acid line adds vivid focus.
