Such an elegant nose, with a seductive touch of flint. Super well crafted - one of the finest expressions of Arinto I've tasted recently (perhaps ever). Clementine, red apple and orange zest mingle with softness, assertiveness and focus. Deft use of oak, adding smoky structure and nuance to Arinto's bright yellow fruit. A spicy rim adds energy and verve. A truly fine wine, complex yet so approachable, appetisingly saline. Long finish with intense zesty pull and a hint of white grapefruit pith. Elegant, delicious, characterful. It will be interesting to see how it evolves in bottle.
