A Pinot Noir sourced from the Italian Collio region and the Romanian Brda region, it features blackberry perfume, oak smoke and sweet spices, with a hint of bruised apple. It's smooth and opulent on the palate with decent tannin structure and elegance. Cassis, black berry fruits are spiced up by notes of liquorice, bitter coffee and tea, which came from 29 months of barrique aging. The bitter wood and prune sweetness follow to the finish.
