Perfumed red strawberry and raspberry fruits on the nose plus prunes, clove and Pu Erh tea spices. Sweet red berry fruits are balanced by the bitterness of black tea, liquorice and a good level of acidity. The 13.5% alcohol is felt on the gums. Silky but solid tannin structure indicates aging potential, with sweet plums lingering on the finish. The Opoka Cru version of Pinot Noir came from the Breg Cru vineyard and has been through 27 months of oak aging.
