This property is owned by Koos Bekker, of global internet group Naspers, and his wife Karen Roos. The 2018 is the maiden vintage of a 100% estate Cabernet Sauvignon and it’s very nicely judged. Matured for 18 months in 300-litre oak barrels, 40% new, the nose shows red and black berries, violets, some leafiness and vanilla, while the palate is medium-bodied with pure fruit, fresh acidity and ripe tannins. Long and savoury.
