Based in Paarl, KWV was established in 1918 and has had various roles and changes over the last 100 years. It remains one of South Africa’s leading wine producers. There are 13 different wines in The Mentors range and the first vintage of their Chenin Blanc was in 2006. The vines are now 26 years old and planted on Malmesbury Shale. The grapes for the 2017 were picked by hand with a yield of 30hl/ha. 

Light gold in colour, the wine is full-bodied with orange, peach and honey notes. It has a delicate, mouth-filling texture with the fruit running through the long finish.
