Seelug means 'sea air' in Afrikaans and is so named as you can feel the wind from the Atlantic Ocean in the vineyard. It’s a cool spot facing False Bay, producing a wine with a classic Chardonnay nose of toast, butter and mango. It's more developed on the palate, which shows honey, stone fruit, toasted pitta bread and a kick of lime acidity. Its chiselled profile really draws you in, as does the seductive vanilla ice cream note on the finish.
