Blue and black fruit aromas, deep and inky and appealing, showing sweet fruit dusted with cinnamon. In the mouth it's all cassis and blackcurrant, with brushings of graphite, smoke, currants and black cherries. Soft, plump, thick and mouthfilling. The tannin is there, but it's quite respectful, it's not pulling or drying. Acidity is great. A very successful wine full of character and flavour.
