A blend of 50% French oak-matured Chenin and 50% stainless steel-matured Chenin, aged on its lees for two months before bottling. The result is a wine that gains some weight but retains plenty of steely freshness. Flavours of honeydew melon, green apple and lime dominate, joined on the mid-palate and finish by minerals and stone fruit. Decent intensity. 46 cases of 61 cases produced available at the CWG auction.
