A tribute to the skill of Chris Williams, long-time winemaker at Meerlust who also makes The Foundry. It’s still a vibrant, deep ruby colour, even after 13 years! Tasting beautifully mature now, it boasts deep drafts of menthol, fresh earth and liquorice. Still powerful and fresh, with good fruit and juicy tannins, it is starting to taste like a mature Syrah-based Châteauneuf-du-Pape. And it still has a long life ahead.
