From vines planted in 1991 and 1998 reaching altitudes of 240m, where the soils are pure granite, while lower down the granite is decomposed. The fruit is partially destemmed, and around 20% is whole-bunch fermented, which takes place in a mixture of concrete and vertical foudres. 

It's a lovely expression of Pinotage, displaying a creamy, sweet and ripe nose of red fruits. In the mouth it has fine-grained tannic grip, framing some lovely fragrant cherry fruit alongside black pepper spice and wood notes. A hint of pomegranate and raspberry appear on the mid-palate and hang around on the finish. An elegant wine.
