The old bushvine vineyard used for this wine was about to be grubbed up for citrus trees before the Riebeek Valley Wine Co stepped in. The pale hue belies its fruit intensity – packed with fresh and jammy red cherries, sweet spice and smoky tarmac notes. The alcohol sticks out a bit and it's probably one to drink up soon but good value.
